I went to Mary Ann's for the first time with my company today for a xmas luncheon party. I am not a big fan of Mexican food but the guacamole was fantastic and the Juarez Beef Tostada Salad was amazing and the Red Sangria was unlike any Sangria i've ever tasted. I can't wait to try their Margaritas the next time I visit.
foooood so good it hurt.. literally i was so full hhaha but definietly worth it ..everytime i go to maryanns the food is awesome i love the pollo yucatan and the faijtas and the nachos with guacamole. dont forget to try a margarita or sangria with the meall. dont enhances the experience.. you leave feeling buzzed and i dont just mean the alcohol
The food was amazing!amazing!amazing! And the prices were not expensive at all compared to the big food I received and they had live marachi music which was fun to listen to. It was just a great experience and they have amazing margaritas!!!!
went for a few margaritas, they were fantastic! have not tried the food yet, but we will be back to try the guac that we hear is awesome!!
We had a great experience at Mary Ann's in Stamford last night. Food and service were excellent. Guacomole is great! I will definitely be going back.
I should note it was early lunchtime on a Saturday when they were playing the evangelical Christian songs through lunch. Perhaps at night or later in the afternoon they switch to more traditional Mexican music. It was just a little weird, that is why I noticed it so much!
But the food was WONDERFUL and fresh, and I would go again. A bit pricey but worth it.
PS I meant to put star ratings on the first post, but forgot to hit the drop down button before I hit "Send" now I can't go back and fix it. Darn.
this place is awesome, and they definitely were not playing bible music when i was there haha, a little on the pricey side, but overall super fresh and delicious!
The food was excellent, a tiny bit pricey, but fresh and homemade. The fresh salsa was amazing.
They were playing LOUDLY evangelical Christian music the ENTIRE time we were there. Song after Song."Our God is an Awesome God he rules from heaven above!" "We praise Jesus, our lord and savior!" "He lives in us, we come to worship him!" For an hour and a half.
In a Mexican restaurant you expect mariachi music or even something generic. Not evangelical bible belt Jesus music through your entire meal. It was weird.
By far the best guac I have ever had!! My aunt is from Ecuador and she claims she makes the best guac, boy is she going to devastated when I take her here, and have her try the deliciousness that is Mary Ann's guac. They serve you the guac in a giant funky bowl with a giant wooden spoon. Its 9$ for huge amount of guac. I am obsessed. The service was extremely friendly... my bf dumped an entire margarita all over me (accidentally of course) and they immediately brought out a new one and helped clean up our giant mess. The server was super sweet and attentive and the food came out in what seemed under 5 minutes. The menu is sort of pricey.. but typical Stamford prices that you become immune to. The margaritas are sweet and served in large glasses. They definitely already have it together, even only being opened for a couple days...I received better service here then I do at a lot restaurants that have been opened for years in Stamford (ahem Crab Shell...black bear). Try Mary Ann's you will love it!
