Nice looking place.... it ends there

My family and I arrived in time for lunch (from California). We were a very mixed, hard to please group, however, each person found something to his/her liking. We had excellent service and enjoyed talking with the chef. We are even sending a gift card to relatives as a thank you. Sorry to see that you do not have a restaurant in Southern California.

I always have a great time at Kona in the bar. The bartenders are fun and I really enjoy the atmosphere.

this place has really gone down hill, they changed their happy hour pricing (prices are higher, less selection) the servers are rude, service is ALWAYS consistently slow (20 minutes to get a greeting/drink order???)-the past 3 times have been okay/decent-still a good time, but the last 2 times have been terrible, the last attempt pushed me over. you can pretty much tell the servers hate their jobs...i will not be returning again! see ya konaaa

the service is horrible they take forever to take the tables i think they need more service

Kona Grill has a great happy hour and reverse happy hour! The food otherwise is overpriced, but if you go during one of their happy hours its worth it. 1/2 priced apps, pizza and sushi is always a great way to unwind after a long day. Just stay away from the sushi at reverse happy hour (10-midnight) the sushi is clearly made earlier in the day and then served not fresh, yuck. The have outdoor seating with heat lamps which is something I personally really enjoy.

food and service need improvement compared to other restaurants in the area at same price range
