At the festival, visitors can learn about several different maple sugaring methods including a method dating back to colonial times. The Native American “hot rock” demonstration will show visitors how Native Americans created sugar from sap. Stop into the maple sugar house and see the modern evaporation technique and how the process takes place today. There will be lots of fun family activities including maple-themed crafts, storytelling, face painting, tree tapping demonstrations, hay rides, lots of sweet treats and of course, the ever-popular pancake brunch.
